Lana is from Jatt, a city located in Palestine.

She completed a degree in Biology, and currently doing a second degree in Zoology.

Lana is a Zookeeper, and that’s what led her to South Africa, especially to volunteering in the wildlife from the first place. She chose HomeAwe because she thinks that it's a huge platform that can connect between loving, respecting and understanding the wildlife in our Arab community specifically and every other volunteer from all around the world.

Continuing on this incredible journey, she aspires to further immerse herself in diverse cultures, volunteering in far-flung corners of the globe. Her relentless pursuit of personal growth, coupled with a desire to challenge norms and break barriers, fuels both her passion and the vision of HomeAwe.
