Hello! My name is Yazan Sameeh Badarny (the founder of HomeAwe) and I'm from the city of Arraba, located in northern Palestine. I am 28 years old. I had the opportunity to volunteer in South Africa and it was an unforgettable journey! Therefore, I decided to further develop myself and embark on a path to volunteer in unique programs in other countries.
My goal was clear from the beginning; to improve my English, explore new civilizations, cultures and gain international work experience that adds value to my resume.
My journey was filled with enthusiasm and self-investment. Indeed, I found an exciting program in South Africa, specifically in Cape Town.I made the bold decision to live there for 6 months to work as an intern, a type of volunteering. I joined the High Tech team in Cape Town with a spirit of adventure and challenge. What made it wonderful is that all of this was without financial compensation. I invested my time and effort without monetary gain, but more than that, I invested in myself and in the promising future that awaited me.
This experience was an opportunity to immerse myself in an international work environment, learn modern methods and practices in my professional fields. I learned through interacting with colleagues representing diverse cultures and backgrounds, becoming part of a team that strives for excellence and success.
I greatly benefited from this experience, positively impacting my language and professional skills, and adding a shining touch to my resume. I became confident in communicating in English and understanding the cultural context of international business.
Ultimately, this experience was a real investment in myself and my future. It showcased my personal and professional skills and left a positive mark on my life. Therefore, I encourage everyone to invest in themselves through engaging in global volunteering experiences and benefiting from opportunities for growth and development.

Prepare for an exciting adventure in your life and invest in your training / volunteering.. You will reap unforgettable rewards ;)
